A Chief Investigator from the ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hub for Digital Enhanced Living has been recognised in this year’s Australia Day Honours.
Scientia Professor Helen Christensen FASSA FAHMS has been appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for “distinguished service to medical research through the development of on-line mental health treatment programs”.
Professor Christensen is the Chief Scientist and Director at the Black Dog Institute and a Professor of Mental Health at the University of New South Wales. As part of her role as Chief Investigator at the ARC Research Hub for Digital Enhanced Living, she is leading development work in the use of digital technology in the research into the prevention of mental illness.
